Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau said on Monday that star defenceman Quinn Hughes is now considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury. He was listed as day-to-day before missing Saturday’s loss to the Buffalo Sabres.

Also, defenceman Travis Dermott (concussion) is now considered week-to-week.

Meanwhile, Boudreau said forward Brock Boeser and defenceman Riley Stillman are considered day-to-day with injuries.

The loss of Hughes for weeks is a huge blow for the only winless team in the NHL.

Hughes had eight goals and 60 assists in 76 games last season.
